About us

The Indonesian/French charity association, PER (Pour les Enfants de la Rue – For the Street Children), was created in 2000 by three Indonesians, under the guidance of the then French Ambassador’s wife. Moved by the plight of the increasing number of street children in Jakarta, the association was established in order to work with centers helping children from disadvantaged families. Today it is still managed  by French and Indonesian volunteers and from others countries.

PER is a non-denominational association that respects all religions or beliefs. For this reason, PER supports worthy centres and students, regardless of their religion, ethnicity or gender.
